An expense tracker that never asks for your bank login
No account, no servers. Your spending lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud.

Open the app and start logging
No signup, no email, no password to remember. The free tier is yours immediately, and you can pick up CashJot Plus later if you need its features.
Never asks for your bank login
No bank linking, no statement scraping, no account aggregator sitting between you and your bank. Every entry is one you logged yourself.
Offline-first
Log on a flight, on the subway, in a remote village without signal. Everything saves locally and renders the same as it does online. Nothing depends on a server being up.
Sync through your own iCloud
Multi-device sync rides on your own iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit. The data routes through your iCloud, not through any CashJot server. We can't see it.
Your data, exportable
CSV export for any date range, share-sheet out. Date, name, amount, currency, home-currency value, tag, group, type, and your note on every row. Drop it in a spreadsheet, archive it on a drive, hand it to your accountant.
The trade-off
Because CashJot doesn't connect to your bank, it can't find a subscription you forgot about, auto-import yesterday's coffee, or categorize from a statement. Every entry is one you logged yourself. If those conveniences matter more to you than keeping your data off third-party servers, a bank-linked app might fit you better.
Want the app itself locked behind Face ID? iOS lets you do that for any app, including this one. Here's how.
Frequently asked
Can CashJot find subscriptions or charges I forgot about?
No, by design. CashJot doesn't connect to your bank or read your statements, so it can't surface a charge you didn't enter yourself. The trade-off: nothing leaves your device, there's no account, and no third party sees what you spend on. If finding forgotten charges matters more to you than that, a bank-aggregator app is the better fit.
What syncs through iCloud?
Your transactions, recurring templates, tags, Expense Groups, budgets, and settings sync between your iPhones via your own iCloud account. CashJot uses Apple's CloudKit, which means the data routes through your iCloud and not through any CashJot server. We can't see it.
What if I switch phones?
Sign in to your iCloud on the new phone, install CashJot, and your history rolls in. No restore from a CashJot account, because there is no CashJot account. The same iCloud sync that keeps two phones in step also handles the upgrade.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. CSV export covers any date range you pick, including the original currency, the home-currency value, the tag, the group, and your note for each entry. Recurring templates export too. Drop the file in a spreadsheet, attach it to an email, archive it on a drive. Your call.
Do I need an account or an email to start?
No. Open the app and start logging. The free tier covers the whole core flow before you ever look at CashJot Plus.
